About the Speaker

John Balce CFA

John Balce, CFA, is a senior managing director in the corporate finance/restructuring practice at FTI Consulting. Previously, he served as an associate director at Ferrier Hodgson. Mr. Balce also worked in the corporate finance group at SGV/Ernst & Young Transaction Advisory Services, Inc. He has been involved in projects across a range of industries, including energy, infrastructure, real estate, banking, outsourcing, electronics, mining, and manufacturing. Mr. Balce conducts financial modeling training for FTI Consulting in Manila, Hong Kong, and Indonesia. He is a board member and vice president for candidate relations at CFA Society Philippines and a member of the Philippine Institute of Certified Public Accountants. Mr. Balce is a certified public accountant (CPA). He holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration and accountancy from the University of the Philippines Diliman.
