Overview

Building an ecosystem conducive to sustainable growth of the capital market is a mission of the Securities and Exchange Commission Thailand (SEC) as a capital market regulator. Therefore, SEC has developed the Sustainable Capital Market Roadmap and incorporated it into the SEC Strategic Plan 2021-2023.

Considering sustainability issues as top priority, SEC has promoted application of ESG criteria in the Thai capital market in all aspects, from the areas of issuers, investors, products, to intermediaries, as they play an important role in supporting the drive towards capital market sustainability in a tangible manner.

To support this development, CFA Institute partnered with SEC to conduct a webinar to help enhance the knowledge of ESG investing for local practitioners. The webinar is targeting local intermediaries, with aims to equip them with fundamental understanding and knowledge in providing ESG-related services to investors.
