Jean De Kock
Jean De Kock

Jean is a principal at Mercer, based in Singapore, and is responsible for researching fixed income investment strategies managed within the Asia (ex-Japan) region and representing Mercer’s views on global fixed income strategies to clients within Asia. Jean joined Mercer in August 2012 and relocated to Singapore from London in April 2018.

Jean holds an honours degree in finance and accounting from the University of Cape Town in South Africa and is a CFA charterholder.

Sheldon Chan
Sheldon Chan

Sheldon Chan is the portfolio manager of T. Rowe Price’s Asia Credit Bond Strategy. Sheldon’s investment experience began in 2004, and he has been with T. Rowe Price since 2011, beginning in the Emerging Market Fixed Income Division. Prior to this, Sheldon was employed by HSBC in Hong Kong and London as a director and credit analyst in fixed income research.

Sheldon earned a B.A. (with honours), an M.A., and an M.Eng. in engineering from Trinity College, University of Cambridge.

Richard McGillivray
Richard McGillivray

Richard McGillivray joined CFA Institute in June 2013, and has worked on a wide range of professional development projects with firms, regulators, industry associations and universities across the region.

Richard brings an unusual blend of experience in investment management and education to CFA Institute. Prior to CFA Institute, he set up the Asia Pacific operations for a UK-headquartered asset management business for whom he built and supported a broad client base, including private and retail banks, institutions, fund of funds and family offices in Asia Pacific and Africa. Prior to that, he worked for nearly 20 years in adult and professional education in Asia Pacific and southern Africa, including in financial services, media, aid agencies education and law.

Ashlesha Vaishampayan
Ashlesha Vaishampayan CAIA

Ashlesha leads T. Rowe Price's consultant relations efforts across Asia, and is based in Singapore. She joined T. Rowe Price from Russell Investments in 2019, where she was a Senior Manager for Russell's UK Institutional business. Ashlesha has 8 years of investment management industry experience, having joined Schroders' graduate scheme in 2013 in London.

Ashlesha is a Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst, a current Chartered Financial Analyst candidate, and holds an honours degree in Classics from King’s College London.
