Overview

Finance and investment professionals have a critical role to play in helping organisations build a more sustainable future.  Concerns over climate change have created a stronger demand for products and skills to develop a deeper understanding of how these factors are impacting the industry, clients, and the world at large.

As such, ACCA (the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants) and CFA Institute, the global association of investment professionals, have co-developed an online course* which focuses on climate change and its related impacts, carbon pricing, sustainable business models and climate risks and opportunities.

In this information session, representatives from CFA Institute and ACCA explained the rationale behind constructing the climate finance online course, introduced the course curriculum and e-learning system and answered any questions you may have.

*Hong Kong SAR Government Funding Scheme: The Climate Finance Course is one of the Eligible Programs under the Pilot Green and Sustainable Finance Capacity Building Support Scheme. Upon successful completion of the course, eligible applicants can apply for a subsidy of up to 80% of the course fee, where full-time students can claim up to 100% reimbursement.
